Chakra Pendant

I don't know about you, but the pieces of jewellery I wear either mean something to me or are a memento of a time and place I've been.  When the new year rolled in, I just felt a desire to create a little piece of jewellery I could wear that would remind me to check in with myself.

2025 was hectic, to put it mildly, and this year (2026) I have to be more mindful of a few things, not least of all making sure that I take care of 'me'.  Sure, there are people in my life that love me dearly so I'm very blessed, but I don't tend to put myself at the top of the list.  So this year, I'm making a conscious effort to stop, quieten my busy mind, and to 'feel' my decisions.

With that in mind, I was drawn to chakras; each with their own unique meaning and purpose. However the Crown really stood out to me, centered around Spirituality.

Having the ability to make jewellery is a gift and being someone who's always thinking 'if I like this, maybe others will too' I set about to make one of each of the Chakras:

• Crown: Spirituality
• Third Eye: Awareness
• Throat: Communication
• Heart: Love
• Solar Plexus: Power
• Sacral: Desire
• Root: Trust

The pendant is simple - a half inch piece of 0.4mm Sterling Silver sheet, stamped S925 on the back and the Chakra symbol on the front. I hand forged the circle to fold over a diamond cut chain, polished it up, and ta-da - a shiny little Chakra Pendant.
